Safety Precautions we are taking for our In-Person Programs.
The in-person option will be held at the NESPA studio, 55 Concord St. in North Reading. Here are the precautions we will be taking with the in-person option.
Cast A (Mamma Mia! and The Wizard of Oz) 10 children and one instructor (Kelly Walsh). Cast B (Mamma Mia! and The Wizard of Oz) 10 children and one instructor (Stacy Whalen-Kelley). Each cast will have there own rehearsal space and we choose 10 as that would fill both spaces to 25% capacity. Descendants will be 8 children and 2 instructors.
We are discussing taking temperatures checks at the door, but we need to further educate ourselves on the guidelines and health laws surrounding this. Children will be asked to leave if showing any signs of illness.
No parents or guardians allowed in the physical space. Drop-off and pick-up will happen outside of the studio. When you are in the parking lot you will text Kelly to send your child out.
Disinfecting stations at both entrances and the students will be required to use hand sanitizer when entering the building, using the bathroom, before and after eating, and other various times throughout the day.
All singing to happen outside.
Personal items will be limited and each student will have an assigned space to leave their belongings. Lunch/snacks will be outside (weather permitting).
Personal distance will be honored, as well as mask wearing. We are still waiting further guidelines for both procedures. Safety will be the top priority.
The space will be sterilized at the end of each day.
Although this sounds very sterile, the in-person program will also be filled with creativity, love and just a pure sense of excitement to be able to share this time together. It will hold the same values that all of the NESPA programs do which is inclusiveness, acceptance, and a sense of belonging. Please email us at email@example.com with questions.
