FALL '25 Kid's Play Production: "PETER PAN!" - MONDAYS 4:00-6:00 (Ages 8-12)
This fall, our Kid's Play Production program will be working on a 30-40 minute, non-musical adaptation of Peter Pan!
This adaptation will be predominantly based upon the original stage play from 1904, with some elements from the Disney film.
OVERVIEW/SYNOPSIS:
"One night, the Darling children are visited by Peter Pan, who searches for his lost shadow with the help of his mischievous fairy sidekick, Tinker Bell. After receiving assistance from the eldest Darling child, Wendy, he invites her and her brothers join him in Neverland. On this magical island where children never grow up, the travelers come face to face with a ticking crocodile, the Lost Children, the Brave Girls, mermaids, and a band of bungling pirates led by the villainous Captain Hook."
ABOUT THE PROCESS:
This program will teach actors how to take a script and bring it to life alongside faculty members who will inspire and guide. Young actors will build confidence in themselves as performers and as people in an encouraging environment. We have mastered the art of transforming young performers into dynamic actors.
Students will also get to learn about some behind the scenes elements, and assist with designing and painting sets and props for the show!
Auditions will take place on the first day of the program, and everyone who wants to be in the show will be cast!
This program culminates in a weekend of ticketed ($12) performances!
Rehearsal dates: Mondays, September 8th - December 1st, 4-6pm
