FALL '25: Teen Play Production: "PETER PAN!" MONDAYS 6:00-8:00 (Ages 13+)
We're excited to announce our new Teen Play Production Program will be working on a non-musical adaptation of Peter Pan based on J.M. Barrie's original play from 1904.
OVERVIEW/SYNOPSIS:
"One night, the Darling children are visited by Peter Pan, who searches for his lost shadow with the help of his mischievous fairy sidekick, Tinker Bell. After receiving assistance from the eldest Darling child, Wendy, he invites her and her brothers join him in Neverland. On this magical island where children never grow up, the travelers come face to face with a ticking crocodile, Lost Children, Brave Girls, mermaids, and a band of bungling pirates led by the villainous Captain Hook."
ABOUT THE PROCESS:
Building on the foundation of our Kid's Play Production, this next-level experience is designed to challenge teen performers with a longer production, more complex staging, and richer dialogue. Actors will work on creating fully developed characters with clear motivations and objectives.
Students will also get to learn about some behind the scenes elements, and assist with design elements such as set, costumes, and more!
Auditions will take place on the first day of the program, and everyone who wants to be in the show will be cast!
If you are not interested in acting in the show and want to work on the design elements, please note this in the comments section when you register!
This program culminates in a weekend of ticketed ($12) performances!
Rehearsal dates: Mondays, September 8th - December 1st, 6-8pm
There will be no rehearsals on October 13th and November 17th
